How do the herbs work?

Herbs are wonderful, intelligent life forms which have their own immune systems to keep them healthy. The environment plants live in exert different stresses, which the plants alter their physiology to overcome. Living in the same environment we can benefit from the plants solutions to the same stresses. For example Salix alba or white willow grows in a wet environment near rivers, swamps etc, and was traditionally used for colds and rheumatism. Today it is still used for these conditions.

Plants with a particular affinity for certain organs or systems of the body are used to 'feed' and restore to health those parts which have become weakened. As the body is strengthened so is its power and ability to fight off disease and when balance and harmony are restored, health will be regained.
